DELTA Safety Training has a scoop by being the first training institute to take the new SIR Respiratory Protection B exam (also known as Adembescherming B in Dutch) on Saturday January 7th, 2017. The modern location of DELTA Safety Training now also meets all revised SIR requirements to be allowed to take this exam.

## Major revisions

The major changes for SIR Respiratory Protection B (Adembescherming B) exam are:
1. Participants without a valid certificate must have attended at least 12 hours of training in order to take the exam
2. The validity of the SIR Respiratory Protection B certificate has become 5 years instead of 3 years
3. Participants in the SIR Respiratory Protection B exam must have a valid medical certificate that must be shown at the exam.
