DELTA Safety Training has a scoop by being the first training institute to take the new SIR Respiratory Protection B exam (also known as Adembescherming B in Dutch) on Saturday January 7th, 2017. The modern location of DELTA Safety Training now also meets all revised SIR requirements to be allowed to take this exam.

It’s official! DELTA Safety Training is accredited for GWO (Global Wind Organisation) Basic Safety Training.

On Friday August 5, 2016, the NUON Solar Team of the TU Delft was present at DELTA Safety Training in Rotterdam for an extensive teambuilding training as a “kick off” for the 2017 team.

On Friday September 9, 2016, the ILENT (Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport) inspectorate approved the STCW Basic Safety Training and the STCW Basic Safety Training Refresher, after attending the entire week at the new training center of DELTA Safety Training in Rotterdam. Scaffolders without a valid certificate or diploma may no longer perform work after January 1, 2017. With the Scaffolding Directive (in Dutch: Richtlijn Steigers), a new training structure (introduced in 2014) will be effective from January 1, 2017. After this date you are not allowed to perform work without a valid personal certificate or diploma which proves your professional competence.

At the request of one of our customers, we will soon be providing the NOGEPA Offshore First Aid basic course in the Dutch language.

The VSB (Vereniging van Steiger-, Hoogwerk- en Betonbekistingbedrijven) has recognized DELTA Safety Training for scaffolding courses in accordance with the new scaffolding construction training structure. The accreditation is applicable for the Scaffolding Engineer course (Monteur Steigerbouw). The applications for recognition of the Assistant Engineer (Hulpmonteur) and First Engineer (Eerste Monteur) training are in preparation.
